Entry Deadlines for Kaufman County 4-H’ers

Due to schedules at the Extension Office

  • Fort Worth entries are due to the office by 5 pm November 5th.
  • San Antonio, San Angelo, Houston, and Austin Livestock Show are due to the office by 5 pm November 17.

KAUFMAN COUNTY JUNIOR LIVESTOCK SHOW -Monday, February 27, to Friday, March 3,  2023

  • Kaufman County Junior Livestock Show Information can be found on the KCJLS website – www.kcjls.com
    • Show Schedule – Coming Soon
    • VALIDATION DATES
      • November 1st – County Steers and Commercial Heifers Validation -Risinger Vet Clinic – 6:30 pm
        • YOU HAVE TO ATTACH A W-9  FORM  TO THE ENTRY OR IT IS VOID!!!
        • If you major validated (for steers (in June), then the entry form (below) with tag number is STILL DUE THIS DATE!!
      • Last chance December 17th by 12 pm – Market Goats, Market Lambs, Breeding Sheep, Breeding Does, Wether Does, Wether Dams, Market Hogs
        • if you major validated market lambs/goats (in June or October), Wether Does or Dams (in June or October) and Breeding Sheep and Breeding Does (in June or October) use that ear tag number
      • February TBA – Market Meat Pens that were entered on December 18th need to come to the County Fair grounds  starting at 6:30 pm to be validated.
